We offer two core course options, the traditional tract is geared towards older style classes with free materials and a more basic (assignment, test, paper) framework of study and usually suggested for students starting in a master’s program and hoping to transfer into CTS Doctoral studies. The contemporary tract is a more updated and philosophical approach to learning (reading, thinking, and applicational assignments) and recommended if you are only receiving one degree from CTS and is required for all Doctoral degree students. The contemporary tract is based on regularly updated course content with all required reading available on Amazon. Each course is based on a 3-credit hour course equaling 135 hours of semester equivalent work. It typically takes a part time but dedicated student a year to complete the core courses and another year to complete the next 6 classes in their chosen area. Dissertations and projects are usually started during your second year and can be completed within the second year but often continue into a third year of study. It is possible to complete some degrees in 12-18 months full time.
